The Antarctic Series
I begin each show with series of small landscape studies, and this study series is for the Sydney solo show in July. I use a variety of mediums, including inks, found objects and oil paint. The works are small in scale, for ease of movement when working in the field. In this series, the vast beauty of the antarctic its colour, topography and monolithic ripples and timescale have been a point of reference for the work.
